i cant stand the heartburn anymore! what can i take?

im 35 weeks pregnant .. been having heartburn my whole pregnancy i havent taken anything for it but its getting worse every day and i cant handle it right now .. the only thing i can find in the house is some equate brand extra strength antacid chewable tablets .. its supposed to be compared to gaviscon extra strength antacids active ingredients .. ive tried calling the doctor but no one was available .. is this safe to take?
haha like i said the only thing i can find in the house is these antacid tablets .. i have no access to a vehicle right now as my boyfriend is at work .. so i cant try the fruity gum or go get anything from the store .. as far as milk goes .. doesnt work ..

Yes, you can take it. I use TUMS all the time, I’m 36 weeks pregnant.
