Weird medical condition?
I have a strange medical condition which no matter what doctor I go to they never know what it is. Every time I run/exercise lots of mucus build up it blocks my airways and prevents me from breathing and I have to cough up the mucus or drink lots of water and in P.E I always get in trouble. I also get mild heartburn. I’ve had it since I was born the doctor said it would go away when I turn older but I still have it. I’ve become overweight because it’s very hard to exercise. Please tell me what I have and how to cure it! P.S It’s not asthma!
I’ve never heard of mucus building up with exercise, but I suppose it’s possible that you had it in your nose and other places and it got dislodged with exercise. One thing you should do is limit your dairy intake. It produces a lot of mucus. That’s where I would start. Also, gluten intolerance is usually to blame for people with acid reflux. The mucus also accompanies that. Start with the dairy. This will definitely help with the mucus. If you feel experimental, cut out gluten as well. A lot of people are overweight as a result of gluten. That will definitely help you lose weight. Peace.
